Founded in 2015 Jennifer McCray began J. McCray Style LLC as a Wardrobe Stylist in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born on the east side of Detroit, Michigan, Jennifer was raised in a community that communicated style by way of class and status. Detroit, home of the Motown sound, 'The Big 3' (Ford Motor Company, General Motors and Crysler), has always had a reputation known for its rich fashion and style.

Jennifer stated, "fashion and style is a part of my identity, my mother is a very sophisticated and stylish women, she's figured a way to embody such class and elegance with modesty. I, as a young child aspired to do the same."

J. McCray Style Boutique was founded in 2017 by Jennifer out of necessity during a surprise pregnancy after a relationship break-up. "Becoming a Stylist and Advertising Director during my time in Las Vegas was definitely the highlight of my life at the time and a great start to a promising career. Having my child and addressing my mental health however is the advice I would have given any young woman in my position. My faith kept me strong when my personal life was falling apart. A good friend told me, 'Walk away when your reputation is good, hopefully it'll still be good when you come back.' "
